master password bios

hello,

i can boot and use windows as well. no problem.

i contacted dell support also. they proofed me as custumer and tested with me lot of things. also they generated 3 passes and tested with me, it did not worked.

after that we tryed to update the bios with dell suupport. the bios we testet are a A22 to A28

A22 needs disk drives for that or cd rom boot.

the notebook doesnt come with fdd. so we burned this to cdrom.

but, the bootsequence is set to harddisk boot only in bios.

so we cant boot from cd because we could not go to bios with bootpassword.

after that we tryed the other bioses, wich could be installed from windows, but they dont work "unsupportet system" message. dell support told me, that we need minimum a22 bios to use the other bioses.

hmm, how could you loose your password if you need to enter it everytime you boot your system?
anyway, if you can prove ownership of the laptop then contact dell for a master password.

hmm, are you sure that your keyboard is working properly?

Well if the master passwords Dell gave you didn't work then you will probably need to change out the motherboard to fix this problem.

i ve lost my bios password. normaly i could set a short to mainboard of normal pc to reset it or use masterpasswords (for award for example).

how could i reset this bios?
what is the master password for this notebook? i mean, i bought this notebook and im not able to reset the bios. why??

it must have a master password. so i need it.
