Hi,
I don't have an 6430 but 6430s.
I have bought a 6430s because it's designed for msata drive.

thanks.

Hi titaf,
Latitude E6430 is not designed to install the mSATA drive on the system. The slot provided is for WWAN card. To be able to support mSATA the port needs to have a SATA controller connected to it however the latitude E6430 does not have it.

I am sorry for the late response. Could you please check what option is selected in "SATA Operation" under the "System Configuration" tab in BIOS?
Hello,
Actually I've on SATA OPERATION AHCI.
I've changed it to RAID ON but I Can't see my msata.
Thanks,

Who has made a mistake?me : I've understood that e6430s is compatibe with msata when I've read technical specs.Dell : it's described on technical specs "Starting weight: 3.75lbs / 1.70kg (with 3‐cell battery, airbay, and mSATA SSD)"In this case what does it means Starting weight: 3.75lbs / 1.70kg (with 3‐cell battery, airbay, and mSATA SSD)"?
Who can I use my msata ssd with my e6430s?
thanks,titaf

I have an e6430s, too. Are you sure it's designed for mSata drive? How can install it?
