nView Display Mode

I would like to connect my Inspiron 5150 laptop to my television in order to play DVDs on the TV.  I have installed the most recent driver for my video card, NVIDIA GeForce FX Go5200  (version 6742), but am still not able to activate the correct settings because the certain tabs and options remain unavailable to me. There is no TwinView tab in the advanced display settings, and nView Display Mode is not listed under NVIDIA GeForce FX Go5200 advanced properties. I don't understand this, because nView Display Mode is listed in all of the Dell help documents. Does anyone understand why this might be, and what I can do to rectify the situation?

Try downloading an update to the driver.  It worked for me.  You can get the driver off the Dell website.

Are you connecting directly to the TV or through a VCR?

I connect directly to the TV with a S-video cable.
