network controller driver issue.

Good day

i recently purchased a Dell Inspiron N4050 32bit laptop from a collegue of mine, Lets call the system "Black"

Black is a windows7 OS, i had to clean it up for a fresh start, so black went with mi  to the IT dept @ my workplace, spoke with a friend there, who decided to format and reinstall the OS win7, i was like OK, that'll be fine, please do.

after 4 days, Black came back to mi, that was where i notice the VGA was blurry, that meant black's treatment wasn't thorough. also, it wouldnt pick up the wifi, infact, the wifi dont work no more.

so i checked out my device manager where i found the Standard VGA and network controller had the yellow exclamation icon tagged. i knew i had to get the proper drivers ti fix it.

upon my internet search for drivers, i got the VGA fixed but the network controller wont bend. i stumbled upon the dell forum where an individual had an issue relating with my, he was given some instructions, which he followed, and his system worked, i read the posts between these folks, i was so hapi that i was gonna get black fix, i followed all the instructns given, but still, NOTHING.

pls, what should i do? the problem i have now is with Network controller, please help

Thanks
