not able to find Bluetooth hardware on my XPS l501x
I am not able to enable my bluetooth on my xps l501x
I downloaded R280283 and try to install but at one point it said "activate Bluetooth using wireless switch" which I assume is the F2. I did but only my wifi switched got on not the blue tooth.

Go to device manager and tell me whether you can see Bluetooth there or not,
and also tell me which windows are you using.

no I dont see the Bluetooth in device manager, just to make sure which hard ware should I expand to see bluetooth I tried to find it under network. I am sure that my laptop has Bluetooth because I installed it in the laptop (not the usb one )
the os is
Windows 7 home premium
service pack 1

Well the driver availability on dell website shows that you have in-built bluetooth so from when you have been facing this problem?
were you able to use bluetooth before on your machine?
If yes then try this
Step 1 : unzip dell bluetooth driver then exit installation.
step 2 : go to c:/dell drivers folder
step 3 : go to win64 and use installer in svcpack
