problem with bios

hi i have an inspiron 9300 & i forget the bios password can i update the bios from A03 To A05 Without knowing the password. & if i update it i will loss the password or No.  plz tell me.

i believe you need the password. call dell if you can prove that the laptop is really yours and they will help you.

you just need to be the person that dell has the computer registered to. so things like name, address, phone number, and the like.
