I would suggest you to try flashing the BIOS on the system to check if keys work. Please enter your service tag # on the link below, select the operating system, and then download the BIOS from the BIOS section onto the system and install it.
Thanks.. I had updated the BIOS from A15 to A17 but that did not work. So I removed the keyboard and reconnected to the mother board, reassembled and then all keys worked again.. thanks for your support.
