processor upgrade from T5250 to T8300

i have a Dell M1330 T5250 1.5ghz/ 4 gig/ Nvidia 8400m/ 120g sata

 

i wish to knoow if i can upgrade my processor from a T52501.5ghz to a T8300 2.4ghz

 

is it a socket P

I guess it is upgradable up to T9500. Note that you must have the latest BIOS revisions though. The manual of the computer can give technical details, so the socket info must be there.

I think the motherboards are different, though I'm not 100% certain. The 8300 is a different processor if I'm not mistaken.

Intel® CoreTM 2 Duo T7250 (2.0GHz/800Mhz FSB, 2MB Cache)
Intel® CoreTM 2 Duo T8300 (2.4GHz/800Mhz FSB/3MB cache)
Intel® CoreTM 2 Duo T9300 (2.5GHz/800Mhz FSB/6MB cache)
Intel® CoreTM 2 Duo T9500 (2.6GHz/800Mhz FSB/6MB cache)
Not sure why they don't list the older processors.
