recharging of bios failure in inspiron n5040

I have laptop stoped from work (black screen when i try to operating it) Can i able to resolve bios failure in inspiron n5040 by this file in this page http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/04/DriverDetails/DriverFileFormats?c=us&s=bsd&cs=04&l=en&DriverId=R311578 or it just update only if no please help me when i can find true file to recharge bios.
