recovery disc
i created a recovery disc from dell datasafe local backup 2.0. but i don't know how it works. am i able to restore my laptop to the factory image.
thanks if anybody can help me out

You should have already tried booting to the disk to see if it works. You do not have to complete the restore, just test to see if it allows you to access the Recovery partition. Directions HERE. You should also make the Windows Recovery System Repair disk and set up your backup program to save backups to an external drive. Open Backup & Restore to do that. Test the System Repair Disk too.
