reinstalling windows 7 through dell resource cd

hi .. there .. ihave been trying to install the original windows 7 home version software in my dell inspiron 411z through a green colour cd labelled " drivers and utilities " ....but iam not able to do it ... when i proceed thorugh pressing f12 button while turning on the laptop.... after some procedure it ask me to write commands " A;/> _________________ "    .... 

then i treid a other way  i go in control panel then recovery and select recover from resource cd option ................   then the laptops shuts down and restart and says the driver cd is not locatable and the resource cd was inserted ........

now how to do it ... ???????????

You must have a Windows installation disc.

Or you need to use the onboard recovery options.

The resource/drivers disc is useless by itself.

I dint got any cd othere than the above mentioned with my laptop.. Now what to do..?.....  Can I go for Windows 7 home pirated version installation...  Then in the product key section I ll provide the original product key came with my laptop..????

You need to contact Dell to purchase a set of recovery media (about $25).  The product key will not be needed (and won't work with a non-Dell OEM recovery media set).
