replacing my laptop keyboard!

hello everyone,

i am new to the community though i am using my dell laptop for 4years now, i just want to ask for the possibility of replacing some of the keyboard letters. I cleaned it with a brush and a little bit of water, so i think its not working as normal because its a bit wet. so as stupid as i am, i used blower to dry it and it made some of my keyboard letter deformed a little. so i am thinking for replacing it. is that possible?

does anybody knows where can i get those or the direct line from here in brussels to the dell company? I am just afraid to bring it in the computer store, afraid to makes it worst.

i hope i can get any help in here.

Thanks everyone!

regards,

weisz

Hi Weisz,

Thank you for the reply.

If you feel uncomfortable replacing the keypad and your computer is not under warranty, I would suggest you to get it done by a local technician. If the system is under warranty, please send me the service tag and name listed on the account in a private message.

Thanks & Regards

Hi Manshi,

Thanks for te reply. My warranty just finished last year. I think i'll just bring it in the local technician. Can u recommend any in Brussels? Also, do i have to get the keyboard myself online with the Dell?

Thanks a lot.
