sound fuzzyness
Some programs, like Windows Media Player, produce "fuzzy" type sound. Like if i play an MP3 in WMP it sounds fuzzy, but not in Winamp. I was thinking this is a driver or directx issue. I just experienced it for the first time after installing Madden 2004.

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
Try reinstalling the Windows Media Player. I think this issue is software related because you said you were not having problems prior to installing Madden 2004.

oh, what I meant to say was that I experienced it for the first time in Madden - as in, it didn't happen before

I think you just solved the issue. Look for a solution from the manufacturer of Madden. Of course, you can always reinstall the sound driver and / or operating system. I would recommend using the installation directions on the Reinstall Guide.
