system restore with windows 10
Hi
I would like to do a system restore on my dell inspirion laptop. Can someone please help.
I don't have a system disc and I'd like to restore to a time prior to some stuff that's been loaded onto my laptop. If I try to remove them it says it could cause problems with other programmes. i'm not very computer literate so I'd just like to wipe it and start afresh.
I've tried the repeated press of F8 when Dell comes up on start up but there's no option to get back to the factory settings. I've also tried the press control and F11 when Dell comes up on start up but windows 10 just opens up no matter how quick I try to be.
Please help
Thanks
Isobel

Open the Dell Backup and Recovery utility under Windows. That software will allow you do restore the system (and also to make a set of backup media ify ou have not already done so).
