temperature
when using my laptop just with windows media player listening to song or watching movie the temperature goes between (65 - 70 c )
when playing game like GTAIV temp raised to (100 c) and laptop shutdown automatically.
by the way iam using cooler pad.
specifications :
inspiron core i7 Q740
ATI 5650 HD
4GB RAM
500 GB HDD

Notebooks will get very warm, even more so then most desktops, with the smaller size of notebook chassis not having the room desktops has for air passage. You system with a Core I7 and a fairly powerful GPU is going to generate a lot of heat. If you are concerned with this I can certainly suggest running the fan test in extended diagnostics. For more on running extended diagnostics check the following link. When in extended diagnostics choose custom tests and then fan or thermal test.
