turbo boost technology

I have a dell “Inspiron n5110” laptop for more than three years. Recently I reinstalled my windows os (win 7 64 bit), but the “Intel turbo boost technology monitor” software couldn't be installed on it. There was some error due to not having a turbo boost technology!!. Then I downgraded the bios version and upgrade it again. Now the “Intel turbo boost technology monitor” works properly but in windows properties and bios setup sys there is no sign of turbo boost feature. Must something be shown as sign of the turbo boost technology in BIOS?
