Most likely cause:  a shorted out charge circuit.  Replace the mainboard.

Hi BARLAAS AZIYMEY,

I would suspect that the circuits on the motherboard might be damaged.

If the system has accidental warranty purchased and active, then private message me the service tag and your name and based on your region, we could book a service call and replace the parts.

If there is no warranty, then you could contact our team to get a quote for a paid service call - http://dell.to/1vnT6CQ

You could also order the parts online here - http://bit.ly/2mPH0Yb

Personally, I would suggest you to invest your money on a new machine than to repair this system, as the motherboard replacement is not an inexpensive procedure. However, that is your discretion.

Let us know if you have any other queries.

Hi BARLAAS AZIYMEY,

Thank you for the response.

The service tag shows registered to UAE and the standard warranty has expired and there was no accidental warranty purchased with it either.

You could contact the authorized service partners for your country listed here - http://dell.to/2cpJMiY - and they can help repair the system and provide a quote for repair if required.

Let us know if you have any other queries.
