wrong battery life estimations.
my new inspiron 5558 is really nice except that the battery icon in the toolbar shows different estimations of the battery life even for the same percentage of the battery left. Sometimes the fluctuations are extremely large. for eg. for 82% battery its showing 7.00 hrs and prior to that it was showing around 3.5 hrs for 92% battery.

Thank you for writing to the Dell Community Forum.
The battery estimates depends on the applications that would be running on the system at that particular time. If the application (like videos, games etc...) is more demanding, it would use more power, hence less run-time even if the battery percentage is high.
