xps15 backlit keyboard problem

When I press the gears button on the top right of the keyboard, it takes me to the settings and it says the backlight is on but it's not. I can try to adjust the brightness settings and turning it off then on but it still won't work. How do I turn it on? It's really bugging me.

I also suggest you press the FN key + the right arrow key for the backlit keyboard.

Thank you

Hi,

Welcome to the Community. I suggest you uninstall and reinstall Dell Quickset on your computer. To uninstall, click on start, control panel, programs and features, select Dell Quickset, and click on uninstall. Once its removed use the below link to reinstall it.

jeyanthk,

Some models it's F6

Pressing the little gear or try...

Start, control panel, windows mobility center. Click on the little box in the keyboard brightness area. You should see...
