AC Adaptor not working/ no green light

This started maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago. When I plugged in the AC Adpator at first, there's no gree light in it. Then I unplugged it and waited for about 5-10 minutes to plugged it in again. That happened for the whole 3 weeks and now it's completely not wokring! My notebook is not charged at all and there's 30% battery life left. I don't know how to fix it. Please help me! Thank you!

Your power brick appears to be DEAD. If you plug it in without the computer attached, does the light come on? You could try to check if there is any output with a voltmeter. If under warranty, you should be able to get a new one.

The same exact thing happened to me about a week ago. My battery was completely drained, and when I went to go plug it in, it would not charge. I then noticed that the green light wasn't on.I tried a few hours later and it worked, but today it is not working again. What computer model do you have? I wonder if this problem is happening a lot with one specific type. I have an Inspiron E1405, by the way.

No. Even if I tired plugging it in without the computer, there's still no green light. I called Dell after I got back from school and they said they're going to replace it. But I havr to wait till Dec. 27!!
Thank you for replying! :smileyhappy:

It works sometimes, sometimes it doesnt. How long have you had your computer? I am not sure if my computer is still under warranty.

I had it since July 15, 2007. How about yours?
