Ambient Light Sensor causes flicker/dimming/brightening
A new E6400, and when the ambient light sensor is enabled, the screen brightens and dims constantly, every few seconds getting brighter or dimmer. Sometimes it settles down for 10 minutes, and then begins again.
Any suggestions? I don't even know where/what the driver for this sensor is, so I can't say what version.

AFAIK, the light sensor is BIOS controlled. If updating to the latest BIOS doesn't fix then I would just go ahead and disable the sensor in the BIOS...

I know I can disable it, but I quite like the feature. I would just like to have it working properly, and not changing constantly.
