BIOS Locked..(password protected) on Dell Latitude D520
Hi Guys..
Having purchased this laptop d520 as a "non Runner" and being a retired engineer with time on his hands and likes a challenge..Is there any way of unlocking the BIOS on this device,I have tried everything i know but without success..

You'll need to register the system with Dell (which in turn will require the assistance of the current registered owner). Once that's done, place a call to Dell for the master system password (this will cost you a support call - and unless you can register the system, they will not unlock the system for you). Start by contacting the current registered owner for their ownership details (name/address/phone). Then see
