Hi maluslumen,
Welcome to the Community,
The computer might emit a series of beeps during start-up if there are errors or problems. This series of beeps, called a beep code, identifies a problem. These Beep codes can be used as diagnostic indicator.
On your system model 5 beeps indicates an issue with the CMOS battery. It is a small coin cell battery which is attached on the system board which helps a chip on the system board to store information such as the system time and date and the system hardware settings for your computer. It explains why the system time keeps resetting when you restart the system.
It may be loose connection(between the coin cell battery connector cable and system board port on which it connects). To get to the coin cell battery it involves removing many components such as keyboard, palmrest and you may need help from a service technician.
Private message me your system Service tag number. To private message click on my user name and click start conversation.
I will check your system details and get back to you.
Thank You
