Blue Screen Error Code: 0X00000F4

As of today my computer has started shutting down and getting the error code with blue screen 0x000000f4. I recently had my motherboard replaced so i don't know if that has anything to do with it. Please help with any suggestions..

Yes, it is covered by warranty.  Report the error to Dell and they'll replace the drive.

Hi,

Welcome to the Community. Please mention your system model when posting on the forum. Press the 12 key at the Dell Logo on startup, select Diagnostics and run an extended diagnostics on your Hard Drive. Post back with any error codes.

Thank you.

The hard drive is the cause of the problem - it has failed and needs to be replaced.

Since you already had the mainboard replaced, you would have contacted Dell at that time to arrange the repair.  Do the same thing - this time for the hard drive.

The  hard drive on this model isn't easily replaced - you will have to have Dell replace it.

Last time I used this forum i talked to a Dell Representive and he set up the Service Request for me....also on 8/2 you gave me instructions on how to replace the hard drive because you said it was easy on this model, are we still talking about the same thing

On most of the the 15" Inspiron 15R models , the drive is difficult to access.  On the 17s it's easy.
