Bluetooth issues with dell vostro 1510
Bluetooth issues with dell vostro 1510
I installed windows 7 64bit when it came out. I thought everything was fine but today when i tried to enable bluetooth on my laptop I found it doesn't work.
I went in to device manager and found I was missing the driver. I figured no problem just go to dell's web site and download it. well when I began to install the driver an error came up asking me to turn on the bluetooth. I tried Fn+F2 no luck. booted from bios and enabled bluetooth but sill no luck the error still comes up.
So what I'm wondering is there any kind of generic bluetooth stack I can install? From what I've gleaned from installing drivers on Dell's site its a Wireless 365 chipset. No matter what I try to install I can't enable bluetooth or even detect it through device manager.
Has anyone else run into the same problem? I'm at the end of my rope here.
