Collect and return dell service...

Question

Hi all, I am about to use collect and return warranty service from dell. I live in UK and my laptop is being sent to Germany for repair via UPS (I have received a shipping label from Dell). I have asked if I can insure parcell (its XPS13 worth £1500) as in email from dell says that they are not resposible for any damage or lost parts of the system. My Dell contact told me to not worry about it as it is very unlikely for items to be lost or damaged but she still hasn't answer my concern about who would reimburse me if anything had happened to the laptop while in post. Does it sound right? Has anyone had exerience with their warranty service? Thanks Seb

If the computer is lost or damaged while in possession of the shipper on the way to and from Dell. Then, the shipping service is responsible. If it is damaged or lost while at Dell then, Dell would be responsible.
