DDE Server - End Program

Hello,

 

Can anyone help me understand why everytime I shut down my computer, an End Program box that's shows the DDE Server window is shutting down and then not responding always pops up?  I am using too much memory?  I have about 68 processes running and I don't know why or how to make the number lower.
