DELL XPS 15 Keyboard buttons functions interchanged
I have bought a brand new DELL XPS 15 L502X and when i want to type the @ sign, pressing the SHIFT & 2 gives the '' sign, not @and when i want to insert the '' sign, typing SHIFT & ' gives @, not the '' sign.
the same applies to the # sign and ~
Also,
i purchased a laptop without the backlit keyboard, but is it possible to fit in a backlit keyboard later on?

This is weird. Have you tried using different Shift keys (left and right)?

Marada,
Start, control panel, Region and Language. Make sure the proper language is selected. Also check to make sure the proper keyboard is selected.

This is now the third thread within the last 3 days obviously describing the same problem.All laptops were brandnew....
