Dell Inspiron 130 wireless connection problems
I have Verizon Fios and a Dell Insprion 130 laptop that will not connect.
When I try to connect, it keeps searching for a wirless connection.
I don't know if I need to have a wireless driver or wireless card..??
I would appreciate any advice....Thanks, Angie

Hi,
Welcome to the community
Is this inspiron B130? or Inspiron 1300? I am not seeing Inspiron 130 in our database.
Regarding your issue, you can check in Device Manager>Network Adapters if you have a wireless card installed. If yes, try to reinstall the driver, you can get it at www.Support.Dell.com
Let me know of the results,

Angie,
Please run an ipconfig /all log and post it back here.
What operating system is installed on the Inspiron B130? Elijah, I think it's the same as the 1300, I have one, still working(backup computer)
What virus program and firewall are you using?

Angie3761,
For XP, you have the type
command
For Vista/Windows 7, you have to type
cmd
Hit enter. Type
ipconfig /all
Hit enter
Right click at the top of the log, left click on edit, select all
Right click at the top of the log, left click on edit, copy
Then post the log to this thread.
