Dell Precision M6800 chipset and serial ata driver updates not installing
I have attempted to install the Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver and Management Console and Management Engine Components Installer Driver several times: through the web based automatic installer (together and separately) and also through download of the individual exes, to no avail.
Is there anything else I should try?
Nothing seems to install, every time I use the web app to detect my system they come up as updates.

Windows 10 is on the system? Both files are windows 8.1

Running windows 7; the details pages for both show as supporting this OS.

The system detect correctly identifies my system as 64 bit. There is only one version of the files made available, though zipped and unzipped. This version is what I attempted to install.

You need to use the dropdox box to select the right driver for your version of OS including whether it is 32-bit or 64-bit.

That laptop supports 10 different OS versions.
