Dell Vostro 3446 Windows 8 64 Bit Touchpad not working
I have recently installed windows 8 64 bit on my laptop.
But my tochpad device is not working even installing synaptic touchpad driver though it didnot show any error while installation.
Please can somebody help!!!

Hi Sumit Jais,
I would suggest you to update the BIOS and touchpad drivers on the system again for issue resolution. Please enter your service tag # on the link below and click on ‘Get drivers and downloads’ then download the BIOS from BIOS section and touchpad driver from ‘Mouse, Keyboard & Input Devices’ section onto the system and install it.

Also, Please connect and external USB mouse to the system to check if it works.

I tried updated BIOS and Touchpad Driver from driver and download center but it did not worked.
I external USB mouse and wireless bluetooth mouse is working but touchpad is not working.
Earlier I have ubuntu installed on my computer recently i installed windows 8 64 bit after that it stopped working.
Also the drivers that are available is for windows 8.1 i guess.
Please help!!

Hi Sumit Jais,
We will need to isolate if its hardware or software issue so please reinstall the Ubuntu or Windows 8.1 operating system on the system to check.
