Dual OS (Mac and Windows)

Is there a way I can dual-boot my Insp 6000D with XP Pro and Mac OS X 10.4? I've seen a lot of MacBooks where people have configured it with a dual boot of Windows XP? It seems only fair that PCs should be able to do the same, considering they have Mac OS for Intel chips too.

If you do some searching, you'll find that it has been done on non-Apple hardware.

Legally, however, there's no way to obtain a copy of OS-X for Intel. Apple sells it only with new hardware for now. Even when Leopard (OS 10.5, due next Spring) ships, it'll ship only as an upgrade, so even though you can buy it for Intel, you would be in violation of the license to use it on anything other than an Intel Mac with an eligible upgradeable copy of Tiger (10.4) for Intel.
