Thank you for the Great advice. I'm in the process now of learning the order of these driver downloads. I'll let you know how this turns out. Thank you.
When you reinstalled the operating system, did you install the Desktop/Notebook system software(if applicable) and the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order
Start with the Desktop/Notebook system software and the chipset drivers and follow the list.
Thank you Rick. I printed the pdf for the reimaging and downloaded most of the applicable drivers per the document. However, two things are bothering me. Originally, there were (3) controllers listed in the Other devices column; Broadcom USH, Network Controller, and Ethernet Controller. After downloading the drivers from the website, the Ethernet contoller is no longer in the list.
I do have a wired Internet connection now that's how I'm send this note. Wireless is not being detected. I've downloaded the wireless drivers in the list that were applicable. In the beginning - before I got it, this machine was sold new with Vista. My son's employer installed Win 7 Ultimate 64bit. When I bought the machine from his company, I had to fresh install Win 7 Pro 64 bit which I bought as an OEM version from CompUSA. I've considered using the Vista driver list, thinking that is closer to the original hardware configuration. I did download one of the wireless drivers from the Vista list, but no cigar. Wireless still isn't detecting the signal.
I've a few more drivers or apps on the list to complete. But, wired connection is there.

Hi christopher,
If you are using the system on wireless network, please install the Wireless card driver. Use the link below:
http://dell.to/QjZbjM
Once you are on this website insert the system Service Tag and choose Operating System. Select Network and install the wireless card driver.
Please send me the snapshot of device manager of your system, so that I can assist you better.
Please reply.
Thanks and Regards
