Error " update.cpp 1189"
I get this error "update.cpp 1189" when trying to update wifi driver for 1704 card on Inspiron 15 3543.
Running Windows 10, anybody has any clues???

Hi,
I would suggest deleting the current driver off the system via Device Manager, then trying to install the updated driver. It sounds like there is a conflict in the update package, but if there is no driver installed hopefully the installer package will proceed normally.
Let me know if that works or not. Hopefully it should.

Im having the same issue and I cannot uninstall the driver that I have already installed
