Games run on secodary screen not on primary!
Hello,
During my tries of fixing the laptop overheat I ran run into a new problem. Some of my games, not all run in black screen with sound. After a few day searches I only found out that they only display on a secondary monitor not on my primary laptop. But these are some particular games not all. Any ideas how to fix it?

Hello,
It turned out that it was so simple. The real reason for this was not the Nvidia driver but the Intel which was not up to date and caused some games not to run on the laptop monitor. Everything is fine now!
Thanks for your help!

Hi B Sbguse,
Welcome to the Community.
Have you tried disconnecting the secondary monitor and tried playing on the single primary monitor. Please do list the specific games wherein this problem occurs.
Thanks and Regards

Hello DELL_Priyanka_S,
This happens when I play on my laptop monitor - only sound with black screen. That's why I tried to test it with two monitors and bang- sound on my laptop, picture on secondary monitor. There has to be something that messed with the settings with these games:
The Settlers 7
SimCity Societies
The Sims 3
Before weeks I was able to play all my games normally and then all of sudden these particular games just decided to display picture only on secondary monitor and sound on laptop.

Hi,
To play games and get video display in both the screens ,there is a clone mode that needs to be set.If you are aware of how to do that ,I would suggest you try doing the clone mode.
Please reply if anymore queries.
Thanks and Regards

Hello,
BUT I don't want to play them on both monitors at the same time, I meant that when this problem occured I conneced my laptop to a secondary monitor an then I saw that the picture goes on the second one. SO, I want to make the games run normally again on my laptop monitor ONLY.

Hello,
Actually now I realize that after I updated my Nvidia gpu driver back in May I didn't have started many games, actually I have started and played only 4 from my 15-16 games. This makes me think that it's a driver problem. have reinstalled the newest driver many times and the same - black screen on certain games. Maybe downgrading should temporary help until the new driver comes out. But I don't remember the past driver of 301.42 for Nvidia Geforce GT 525M. Any ideas which was the past driver?
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
I would like to state that to check the older driver, you need to go to device manager, goto display drivers ,right click on the NVidia driver you will get an option of rollback, click on rollback this will roll the driver back to the original one.
Please reply.
Thanks and Regards
