Help, Vostro 1710 not booting! Keyboard LED blinking!
Help! This morning my Vostro stopped working! Yesterday all was fine... When I power on the laptop, it won't boot anymore. The 1st keyboard led keeps blinking rapidly (the one with number 9 in it) and the other 2 leds (one with letter A in it, the other with a downward pointing arrow) are continuously on (solid). The laptop display stays black, no start up screen, can't even get in BIOS, I get no beeps at all, just the power led and the keyboard leds. Please help, I need my laptop very badly! JM.

According to the status that you have written on the blog this is a failure of the system board.
System board error
Following are the only solutions for the problem
1. Reseat the processor.
2. Replace the system board.
3. Replace the processor.
The number 9 on the keyboard is blinking.
