How do I install the MediaDirect 3.5 after the OS has been installed?

I had to replace my hard drive today and they told be to be sure I set up the OS first, well now I can't download my MediaDirect 3.5. Does anyone have any solutions?

Media Direct must be installed first since it is on a separate hidden partition on the drive. Post your model comptuer and operating system and maybe someone else can help. IMO, you can do without it. I never use it on my XP laptop. Research it online for more info. This article might help.

I have a Inspiron 1525 with Vista also and am having the same problem.  I didn't know I had to install MediaDirect first and I have no idea how to do it now.  Can you uninstall Vista and install the MediaDirect first?

Welcome to the forums both of you :emotion-21:

You both need to reinstall Vista I'm afraid... but only after you've installed Media Direct!

Media Direct should've been supplied on its own disc with your respective systems?

But as I've mentioned above... even if it's not specifically mentioned in that (reinstall Windows) article above, you have to install Media Direct before installing the OS!!
