How do I use the fingerprint reader on my D620?

I was just on the phone with Dell support for the last 45 minutes trying to get an answer to this. I was bounced from tech support to software sales and then over to Business Sales. That's when I gave up and hung up the phone.

The fingerprint reader shows up in Device Manager as "TouchChip Fingerprint Coprocessor", using the driver from UPEK from 11/15/2005. So, how do I use this thing? I'd like to use this for logging onto my system as a replacement or alternative to entering a password. I can't seem to find any software or information about this on the support site. I'm running XP Pro w/ SP2.
