How to disable fingerprint reader

Question

I have a new XPS M1530 laptop with built-in fingerprint reader.  I have no need for this and want to disable it.  I currently get nag 'balloons' asking me to set it up and when I boot I get my user icon and another asking me to 'please logon and configure your device' under an icon that is the same as the fingerprint reader app. How do I turn this thing off? Thanks!

Go into the BIOS setup (F2 at powerup) and turn it off.
