I/O parity interrupt issues and NMI hardware shutdowns

My Dell Inspiron 1318( Yes i know it's older than the hills), has, for no apparent reason, began to display the I/O parity message during boot. It will not boot. Any suggestions? It has service Pack 2 and is running Windows Vista. The specific location is F000:E21B.

Hi Aslbow,

Did you make any hardware (for instance, the video card) or software ( like drivers, etc.) changes on your computer recently?

Run the hardware diagnostics on your computer by following the steps mentioned in the link below.

Please reply with results.
