Inspiron Duo running Ubuntu 10.10

For anyone that's interested, I got Ubunto 10.10 installed on the new Inspiron Duo Tablet. Ubuntu on the tablet is very fast, and some hardware was found automatically. The video is crystal clear, Sound drivers work, the Wi-Fi / Bluetooth combo card was also installed and works great. STMicroelectronics 3-Axis Accelerometer/Magnetometer no driver. The touch screen is also not working. I'm not to worried about the Accelerometer but I would like hear if anyone has had luck with the touch screen.

Thanks!

Kurt

I've got 10.10 running on my Dell Duo (1090) as well.  The ubuntu forums will be your friend here. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1658635  This thread has great info, and the guys there have really got the Duo working well with ubuntu.  Most everything will work, but there's no multi-touch for the touchscreen yet (multitouch on the touchpad is fine).  Also, there's still no fix for auto-rotation using the accelerometer, but a user made a very nice touch/type script to accomadate this manually. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=10442849#post10442849

Also, for those on the fence of giving Ubuntu a go, 11.04 release is almost out, and I've heard great things about it so far.  Also, the boot time into 10.10 makes me wonder what the heck Windows is doing so wrong that a bootup takes so long.  Ubuntu is moving towards (already is?) being the most touch friendly full OS out there.
