MATSHITA DVD+-RW UJ8E2

hi guys

ever since my inspiron15 updated to windows 10 from 8.1. I can seem to use the dvd/cd drive. it does not appear in my pc, nor in device manager. when I scan for hardware changes it still does not show. the drive did work once, but has since disappeared from the laptop . any ideas ??
