Please share where you are currently residing and if AT&T services are avilable over there. Also share if you have taken any broadband service contract from AT&T or not. Dell Studio 1558 is shipped with following two WWAN cards:
Dell Wireless 5620 Mobile Broadband Mini-Card
Dell Wireless 5540 HSPA Mobile Broadband Mini-Card
Please share which one is installed on your system. You may check it in Device Manager. Here are the steps to access Device Manager:
Press the key combination Windows Logo key + R key to open Run dialog box.
Type in devmgmt.msc and click OK.
The Device Manager windows will appear.
The card will be listed under Ports (COM & LPT) or Universal Serial Bus Controller if its drivers are installed else it will appear under Other Devices with a yellow bang on it.
Also, share the Operating System installed. You will also need to install the Dell Mobile Broadband Manager application. Here are the steps:
