Thanks, Is there a trick to identifying the system board?

By model and CPU -- or on the board there'll be a part number usually starting with CN-

EDIT: I found this on the memory slot  but can't reference - CN-03H0VW-12963-3A4-09DD

The board you linked is apparently model 3H0VW & parts People shows a number of compatible boards with various part numbers.

Even going by CPU speed there are still a couple of models that fit the bill: 3H0VW & 0FTK8. Since the 2127U  CPU  uses a single processor, I am thinking that 0FTK8 may be a closer match to the original.

I suppose I can use any of the compatible system boards even the I5 (760R1) but it's also the priciest.

EDIT: Now that I have the part number. It's obviously the board you linked to - 03H0VW

I suppose I can use any of the compatible system boards even the I5 (760R1) but it's also the priciest. Any idea what sort of issues you get into upgrading the system board?

Only you can decide that, but if the cost of the board is more than 25% that of a new system, it's probably better to replace the system than upgrade the board.

Thanks, I like your 25% figure to determine replacement.
