Really need help finding all my XP drivers

After waiting and waiting for Dell's customer support to come up with a solution to my wireless/sound issues, my only real option is switching to Windows XP Professional.

It has been over 1 month since I purchased the laptop (and what a surprise, they won't let me return it now, even though I have been waiting for a solution from the tech support team) and just want it to be functional.

Has anyone posted a driver pack for the XPS M1530?

Even the tech support people state my only real option of correcting my sound/wireless problem is to install Windows XP, as there is a Vista driver problem.

I have disabled the Wireless A band like they have stated, and have tried several drivers, all to to result. They stated they were going to send me the XP Pro recovery media for the laptop, but after talking with CS this morning to find out where the media was, I was told it was never ordered for me. (Big shocker there)

This was my first Dell purchase and it will certainly be my last. I can't even return it now in efforts to get a Vostro system instead... they tell me I am past the 30 day return policy, yet it was them who put me past the deadline waiting for a solution or even a call back.

It would be great if someone has a driver pack, as I can't find all the drivers for this system.

First Question where are you in the World.

Second:

If Dell Tech Support says the only fix is to load Xp then THEY WILL Ship it to you.(Might Cost the price of a Replacement disk but I think it should be FREE)

Might TS Change out the Wireless card to one of the others offered for your system as Many people have this same system different configurations with out this driver issue and they work.

If you have the Original Case Number for the Problem You may be able to get a Replacement System or a MRA (merchandise return authorization) since the Problem was within the First 21 Days and Dell Failed to resolve the problem.

First: I live in Canada.

Second: The problem seems to be when video is playing, my sound "chirps" and get crackled. I have tried every solution that they have offered me. None have worked. It gets so bad, I literally have to turn the sound off once the crackling and chirping starts.

I tried to get them to swap out the network card, but that takes changing my original order as the new part wouldn't be covered under the warranty if it wasn't changed. They stated first off that there were no XP drivers for my system, but then offered me new recovery software with Windows XP Professional SP2 for $380 CDN.

I have tried to get a replacement system but now I am past my 30 days of return support as they put it, even though I have had this issue since day one. They just keep bouncing me from department to department. Before posting this morning, I was on the phone for over 4 hours trying to get either a new system or a resolution to the problem. So far I have spent close to 30 hours on the phone trying to get this resolved with my original sales person and technical support who after reading my case file just bounce me to customer service who bounce my right back to tech support.

One person off this board stated it took literally 40 phone calls, but eventually they got tired of hearing from him and sent him the recovery media for free.

This has been an absolute nightmare and I will NOT be purchasing another system from Dell. I almost did the other day as well, as I was going to purchase a Vostro system with similiar specs just to get Windows XP on it.

I am also in the market for a new desktop system, and the Vostro Quad cores seem like an excellent deal, but not after all this. I will build the it myself.

I spent $1587 on this paper weight, and I won't give Dell another penny of my money. Not after the way I have been treated.
