Red display issue on Inspiron 1525
Hey,
I recently bought an Inspiron 1525 laptop, and from the very beginning there has been some very odd problems with the picture.
When I turn on the laptop, the whole picture is tinted red, and this carries over into Windows as well. It is hard to describe, but where black color should be, it has a red tint to it. The weird thing is, if I let the computer stand idle for a while the problem will completely go away until I turn off the computer for an extended period, or if I move the panel back and forth a bit.
Is there any way to solve this? My first thought would be a loose ribbon cable between the video card and panel, but I don't know since the picture eventually fixes itself.
Thanks in advance.

The system needs a screen replacement - call Dell. If it's less than 21 days from shipment, you can request a replacement for the entire system.
