TPM on all latitude models
We have large number of laptop models from d630 up to e5430
we have xp on all these devices but will be migrating to win 7 soon, part of the migration is enabling bitlocker which needs TPM, but if i enable TPM while xp still installed it asks for drivers.
is there a generic driver i can install for all devices on XP or are they all different drivers needs? if so which one will i need?
this is just a temp fix while we get windows 7 rolled out

The control point software or the Wave Systems Corp EMBASSY Trust Suite have the Driver. There is no one size fits all. There are also VERSION and Firmware Issues. TPM is either enabled or Disabled in bios.
TPM is not available in all countries. Bitlocker does not REQUIRE TPM and can be installed without it.
Go to the Local Group Policy Editor and choose the "Require additional authentication at startup" setting under the Local Group Policy Editor: Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Operating System Drives.
Within that template, enable it and then you can click on the checkbox to Allow BitLocker Without A Compatible TPM.

Just get in touch with Wave directly. They have a Wave for Bitlocker Enterprise management tools, TPM tools, SED tools, and are the only ones who have done mass 100k+ deployments.
