when i install this driver then driver's file become unzip successfully... but when installation progress is going on. then installation become failed and a massage is that MEDIA DEVICE not found
Did you not get a drivers disc with your laptop? The audio drivers are included on there.
Not that there's anything wrong with downloading them of course. You know you're using the latest drivers (available from Dell) that way.
Can you please confirm it was the audio drivers off this page you downloaded?
Did you choose the correct/correct version OS first (i.e. Vista 32/64bit or whatever)?
Try downloading them again? DON'T use the Dell Download Manager option though! Download files in your browser, instead.
If you used the Dell Download Manager option when you downloaded them the first time, you'll need to delete the related cookie, before clicking the 'Download' link.
The quickest/easiest way to do that, is to open Control Panel/Internet Options, and hit the Delete button under 'Browsing History'.
Having done that, when you click the 'Download' link this time, you'll again be presented with the two options - browser or Dell Download Manager.
Choose the browser option this time.
Once the file is downloaded, you may need to unpack/decompress it?
If you do - and you don't already have a suitable program installed for handling compresses files, use 7-Zip - which is FREE.
helo dear.
u have to change urs windows service pack.then u will surely install the audio drivers. if problem still persist jst call me

2. What has a service pack got to do with audio problems? We don't even know which OS is being used, never mind what service pack is installed!?
3. "Call me" :emotion-3: Yeah... right! Why would they call you, rather than call Dell tech support?
But why would they need to call anyone, when they're getting answers to their questions/(mostly) sensible suggestions to try, here on the forums :emotion-40:
If you've no better advice to offer anyone with audio problems than "change your service pack +/or "call me", I'd suggest you'd be best not offering any advice at all :emotion-43:

Hi, g9nitin:
Please access device manager and tell me if you see your audio device there, and if there are any errors listed.
