dell xps screen goes blank upon loading windows
Hello
I have a dell xps L501x, I was using it and it froze, and I had switch off. I tried to reboot and it starts off fine, shows the blue windows screen, asks me to log in, appears to be loading windows fine but then goes to blank screen (with a mouse cursor).
I also have an external monitor and it does work on that,
it does boot in safe mode.

Try reloading the video drivers in safe mode.

Thanks the drivers appear ok.
It did a check disk during one start . It still goes blank but by pressing crt alt delete (as I was trying to shut down through this means) using task manager did bring back the screen. I am still having to do this every time, does anyone have any ideas?
