double click on touch pad not working
The double click function of touch pad isn't working. i've checked the settings and they seem correct. i had an external mouse plugged in earlier but this problem has never happened before... any suggestions? Thanks

It's not a hardware failure. If it was, the touchpad wouldn't work at all. Try reinstalling the touchpad driver software.
You can also try to adjust how fast you have to double click to get it to work.

I too have the same problem, mouse pad "double click" no longer works? Have an Inspiron/studio laptop...did not see any options to enable/disable...possible hardware failure? Any ideas?
